Our players deserve a short break anyway.

Rogers is off to Bariloche with the two Emis.

My 9 year old grandson went to the parade with his mother. SJM deliberately made eye contact with him and did the goggles for him. He was interacting with loads of kids in the same way along the route. What a man!!

Has anyone watched the club's official video of the parade? It's brilliant and well over an hour long. The open top bus starting at VP you gradually see the crowds increasing along the way. It gets really busy in and around the Jewellry Quarter, is epic along Broad Street and finally Centenary Square. Great humour and speeches by UE and the squad. Lots of interviews with ex players as well: Lee Hendrie, Alan McInally, Ian Taylor, James Chester, Stiliyan Petrov.

Probably a good thing the parade wasn't on The Bank Holiday - it was roasting, may have had a few keeling over.

My 7 year old resplendent in Emi's full yellow kit got a wave from the Big Man himself although Me and Missus did our best to get his attention in preceeding 15 seconds.

It made his day.

Is there any option to go and have your picture taken with the trophy, does anyone know? Preferably when it has cooled down a bit.

Look at this reverse ferret. To think I thought of you as a fellow-traveller. One sniff of Big Trophy's Brasso and you spit at the gods you used to fear. Yes, you can have a photo with the cup, you vain, vain man, as long as you want the gods to make sure we NEVER WIN ANYTHING AGAIN. Your choice, Haw Haw.

Perma Stickied above the 7-2 in match threads. (Whilst not a match thread, maybe move this over there as well?)

Nah I like it in HD, will get forgotten about over there. At least wait until we have a few friendlies or the World Cup is on, IMO.
