Do we know when the team are flying out?  Is it the day before like a usual away game or they going today/tomorrow?

Yes, no sharing with riffraff/Gary Newbon.

They’ve got some very good players, particularly Manzambi, who’s basically their Rogers. I also think Matanović will score because, since the turn of the year, he’s been in good form and tends to score in patterns of three — he’s currently on a two-game streak.

I can see this being a high-scoring match, with the winners (hopefully us) winning by the odd goal.

I'm expecting a tough game, they'll be no easy pushovers. The more I hear about them, the more I hope Unai has done his full preparation and the players realise they're in for a real battle. We'll need another Forest type performance and our attacking players to be clinical.

If you can put up with Luke Robinson, he has a guest journalist on UTV podcast giving the inside on Freiburg. Well worth a watch.

I know someone that worked with him that had a very different opinion of him.

I always got on with him, but I could see how he could be eminently dislikeable.

We've covered it before. Gary Newbon was partly to blame for there being no TV coverage of Villa 5 Liverpool 1, although the main culprit was Trevor East.

The referee for the game is François Letexier from France, which is a good omen as the ref in Rotterdam was Georges Konrath, also from France.
