Our form has been really weird lately. We go from awesome to mind-bendingly poo in the space of a week.

So on that basis, I have no idea how many chickens I own, and no intention of finding out until Thursday morning at the earliest.

Anyone know what their fans are saying about us?

I had a little Blick at their reddit page. "Aston Villa ist echt gut drauf [yikes emoji]" was one headline, then the first commenter was optimistic before conceding "ich bin ein bisschen delusional". So they think they're underdogs, and they're OK with that. They've clearly not met us before if they think we're obvious favourites. Quite sweet of them really.

In fact, they seem like a nice bunch of lads in general. Annoyingly.

Doesn’t say it’s not available in UK as far as I can see.

For those who can't go and not going to a pub, it has finally been announced that TNT/HBO are showing it with a basic subscription plan rather then needing the Sports add on. So no proper free to air showing for any of the finals at the moment.

I’d love one of our early games in the 2026-2027 season to be the UEFA Super Cup vs the CL Champions in Salzburg. That would be rather nice.

I am absolutely gutted. I am in the states and travelling the two hours to the airport when the game kicks off. Don’t get home until about 4pm on the Thursday, should have got work to extend my visit.

Impressive win from Freiburg today

They just have been v clinical because Leipzig are ahead of them on every metric during the match except goals!

I would much rather play Freiburg than RBL. The latter looked a much better footballing team.

Also, I don't think i have ever heard a commentator refer to something as much as this dude did to the EL final with us. It was every 45 seconds.

Anyone know what their fans are saying about us?

They're composing a letter as we speak.
