POTS - McGinn for me. Cash very strong too, Buendia most improved. Some others had hot streaks of form but first two were consistent throughout.

I think given the age profile of the squad, "young" player now means anyone under 28.

Just found this thread buried 4 pages down - prompted by the Villa app voting for player of the season

It was very difficult this year, and really could have been a few of them, with Matty Cash running my pick very close, because he has been superb this year, and props to Ollie and Youri.

However I went for SJM, obviously because he is ace, but the immediate impact he had on his return from injury set us up for the glorious end to the season we have experienced.
