Barkley now has more league goals for us than Solano and as many as Downing.
Not bad

Another who had a bit of a hammering after Tottenham, but just looked massively exposed to me. Almost always does a good job and looks our most dangerous player today.

Right now that means 5 minutes of an almighty bollocking from UE then send them straight out onto the pitch and make them wait till Burnley come out so they are absolutely fired up for it.

Surely with that VAR it was if he was behind the ball not the defender?

He was ahead of both but the defender was just ahead or level with the ball which is why they took it from him.

Sound, couldn't tell on my feed

TBF I'm only going on a freeze frame I saw. The problem with the semi-auto stuff is they remove everything else from the picture where at least the lines let you see for sure exactly where the ball is from as well. But it did look like Rogers was behind the defender which is why I think the ball was as well or almost level.

Aside from 15 mins, we were totally dominant.  Get a quick goal after HT and this will be a stroll.

Hopefully there will be a lot of objects being thrown at the players in the dressing room now. To start the game like that after the embarrassment of last Sunday is just not acceptable.

Burnley are fucking horrific which is lucky for us. Zero excuse not to smash these in the second half

Not sure that’s true, it was at least 30 mins before we did anything.

I'd dock all of them their wages for a week after that shambles.

I must say, Hinchcliffe on Sky co-commentary is an unbearable tosser.

BBC seeing stats and thinking it means they did well.

HT: Burnley 1-1 Aston Villa

As well as completing at least 11 more passes than any other player in the first half (41), Ezri Konsa was the only player with a 100% pass accuracy.

Konsa making a late push to be England's number 10 at the World Cup?

He has an air of ‘oooh crumbs’ and ‘Mr Grimsdale’ about him.

I know it's a joke, but it's very stupid. No. 10s are the last people on the pitch you expect to have 100% pass completion rate.

He always is, I'm astonished he gets paid to talk utter shite every week.

Comments on Friday about all being forgiven for the Spurs performance baffled me. If we fail to make UCL again, one massive performance against Forest will be no consolation.
