I guess the thought is we have to keep him match fit should anything happen to Torres in the coming weeks. Somebody on here also mentioned that at the end of the Forest game Torres looked absolutely knackered so he deserves a rest.

Lindelof was knackered so I was surprised he has started. Torres was subbed off with the game won for the last few mins but that might have been to give Mings a final European hurrah at home.

The main problem with Konsa and Mings is that when they play together they slow the whole game down to many passes across the back getting no where, neither has any real creativity yet they get a lot of the ball

He was beyond useless there. Wouldn't mind him so much at 6 like he was v West Ham.

I know Emery needs to use the squad but would have preferred Mings on the bench too.
