Me and my mate also had an e-mail come through about 3:30. Good luck to everybody else still trying.

Bloody hell, other two members of family who qualified had emails late on, one of whom is in first day of new job so hard to track down. They've successfully purchased 2 x Category 2 tickets, with minutes to spare, so all four of family who qualified are now going to the game, plus my wife who didn't qualify (one game short) who's coming for the culture! Feel so fortunate.

Email this afternoon when I was out. Just got home in time and got a Cat 3 unrestricted view at 16.25.
Happy does not do justice.

Cheers, thank you. Feeling blessed as suffered with health and this time last year would not have been fit to go.

Think the re-ballot must have been at 3pm? Bit strange as you had until 5pm to book. Looks like its sold out now after the staff ballot

I got a code and am grateful of course but why the lag in sending the emails out? Why wasn't this made clear in the spiel on the website? Why did AVFC support tweet yesterday that all codes had now been sent out? Why send them so late? I hope no-one has missed out through not checking their emails thinking they had already lost out.

It can't be down to people not taking the opportunity up, these codes were sent pre deadline.

Many people may have changed arrangements thinking they couldn't get a ticket. Maybe I have missed something here but it's poor form in my book.

It could easily be as simple as UEFA released some more tickets or some people definitely were not buying them by 1500 but UEFA ticket app still had a time limit set at 1700. Until we find out otherwise I'm not blaming the club.

I think the TO could have handled this a lot better BUT I think they’re in UEFAs hands here and as we know they couldn’t give a flying fuck about ordinary fans as long as their sponsors are happy.

Also the ridiculously short time between semi and Final doesn’t really give much wiggle room.

Against the odds, I got 3 codes at 3.22 this afternoon. It took me a few minutes to pull myself together but bagged 3 in CAT3. I'm obviously elated, especially for my Son.

But still pissed off with how it's been done.

Another mate only saw his code at just before 5 & by the time he got in, it was past 5pm & the chance was gone. Don't know what, if any options he has?
