No system is perfect. And some will complain whatever system is used.

Looks like the company running this ad are the same who have organised the event at Luna Springs in Digbeth. Doesn't look like they have organised events at any other venue so must be this one.

I've had a ST for donkeys years but now don't stand a chance of getting an away ticket so resigned myself to not getting one for this.

I'm pretty relaxed about it, there was always going to be plenty of supporters who 'deserved' a ticket but weren't going to get one, and there were only so many 24 hour slots until the game itself so having too many tiers was never going to work.

I'd have been more pissed off a few years ago mind, when the convoluted travel arrangements wouldn't have put me off.

Here a simple criteria, season ticket holders will be first for the ticket ballot regardless when they were purchased, the ballot will be based on attendance for  particular cup competitions ,I know Manchester United do it on attendance for the FA cup competition, seems simple

Apparently Freiburg's average attendance is around 34,000.For what it is worth their supporters' chances of getting a ticket are not much better than ours. Has anyone on here been on their equivalent of H&V to see what they are saying?

Anyone tickets showing in the UEFA app yet? The confirmation email I received does specifically say that tickets will be ready to download closer to the match, but if other people are already seeing something in the app then obviously I'm going to panic immediately and enormously.
I believe people who have bought tickets from elsewhere have them now but nothing for us fine law abiding upstanding fans just yet.

I'm seeing a lot of posts elsewhere from people who are miffed at not getting a ticket for the final, despite holding a season ticket through the Championship and circling-the-drain years.

Of course, those who have gone to the European games, and the away games deserve first dibs, but I'd hope that when it came to the ballot some sort of preference was given to those with season ticket longevity over someone, for instance, who jumped on board more recently.

Not for me, as that's just age discrimination. It isn't a teenager's fault if their parents didn't take them to games years ago. It should just be season tickets holders who have attended the most non-ST games, on a sliding scale, then STs, then Members who have attended the most games if there are any left. And domestic cups should be treated same as Europe, attending one European game isn't better than doing three cup matches. Arbitrary nonsense.
There will be fans who despite having a season ticket for 40 years and going to all the Europa home games will have missed out on a first European final in 44 years.

I suppose they can try again next time in the afterlife. :)
That pretty much describes me, had a season ticket since about 88. Not missed a home game in any competition for at least 20 years. Done every European home for the last 3 years and I didn't get a ticket for our first European final for 44 years!
To say I'm pissed off is an understatement. I'm going over - hotel and flights booked - but this leaves a bitter taste for me. Could be the final straw if I'm honest.
Gutted!

I'm in the same scenario, I've been a season ticket holder since the mid 80's, my Son who's 32 has had one since he was 5. He's never seen us win anything. His mate, who's a great lad, buys a membership & attends a handful of games, gets the same chance & the good fortune of being picked. Our biggest game in 42 years & we won't be there. That is wrong, no matter how you look at it.

I'm fortunate that I could afford to pay the 30 times face value the resale sites are asking for a ticket. But it's immoral & I won't do it out of principle. UEFA & our own club has fucked us over & it's going to take a while for me to forget that.

Thanks a lot, less chance of me winning now ☹️

I've forwarded it on to a couple of people as well, so you've got even less chance now. Sorry.
