Possibly not the right time to be saying this, and apologies if I'm spouting something that has been discussed elsewhere, but to lump ST holders who go home and away domestically (and have a full house of home euro games) in with members in cat 3 seems extremely harsh to me.  I'm hoping the club's back office system would have picked this up when selecting people in the ballot?
Agree on the season ticket holder bit, but it's impossible to get an away ticket for games so those who can't attend away games are being punished, wouldn't it just be easier just to say season ticket holders only and based on the home games including cup matches in the  allocation for cup final tickets

Hi

Sorry if it's been covered.  We haven't managed to get tickets in the ballot and are considering the resellers - Ticombo has been mentioned.

Anyone got advice on how reliable they are and how the Id checks are covered.

I've called them and they said the seller transfers the ticket via the Uefa site.

Does this sound right?

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks

This is the first time I have used them, but I can share what I found.

Ticombo I believe is the only site that offers a 100% refund should the ticket not turn up, not be as advertised, or not work on the day. I believe that the seller can't access the money until 5 days after the event, so you have time to claim if there are any issues.

You can see reviews of the seller on there, and you can see how long they have been on the platform, and how many sales they have made. So you can make sure you buy from someone with a good, long-term history.

With the UEFA tickets, the buyer receives all the tickets they have purchased to their UEFA app. They can then transfer each of them to another person's UEFA app to use on the day. Only the buyer of the tickets can transfer to another person, so you can't then transfer it on yourself.

As far as I can see, all the tickets are mobile tickets, so avoid any offering paper tickets or anyone asking you to meet up or collect them. There shouldn't be any need for that with a legitimate UEFA ticket resold by the original purchaser.

Ticombo also offers additional insurance you can take out at a price, which I believe gives you more options to get a refund.

They are expensive, as Ticombo's fees are pretty high. But I felt that the ability to see seller history and the refund guarantee gave more comfort.

Really appreciate that information.  Thanks.

I think the main concern is the the transfer of the tickets on the day itself which leaves little time to sort any issues that may arise.

Apologies I may have misread - you said to use on the day, not transfer on the day!!!

Yeah, that isn't ideal, but it looks like all the tickets are only sent out in the days leading up to the game.

You have to have proof of purchase to list a ticket for sale, though.

Me and my mate entered the ballot. He got a ticket, I didn’t. Not the news I wanted on my return from holiday. Is that it now or will there be further ballots?

Nothing announced officially but some people might now not be able to go between registering and getting tickets so might have some more trickle out once the window has closed for these.

Out of curiosity, did you do the register interest together or separately?

I just wondered, because I registered for both me and my mate, and the time on our code emails were the same. It may just be coincidence, but made me wonder if they did any grouping.

I entered the ballot before the semi finals took place. I didn't win but not everyone who won took the option to purchase so i was given the chance. I snapped up two tickets. I've just had the email and app notification telling me i've got my tickets. I can now see which block i'm in and seat number.

With regards to the allocation of the tickets for the Final, I don't think anyone will ever come up with the perfect system to allocate fairly as we all have different circumstances that maybe restricts us from attending all the games if had the chance

I was a member for lots of years and whilst being first in line to get a seat, it was at a great expense at times, for Cat A games, it was nearly double the price of an ST seat, so I do believe that Members should have some potential access to high profile tickets, probably not as much as it sounds like for this one

I did gain from this last season as I was able to obtain a Wembley SF final ticket as I had attended all the Cup games, not that I actually agreed with it at the time, although i'm sure that  all last seasons ST's would have got a ticket for this due to the allocation size, so not as much of an issue

I was able to get an ST for this season and now ironically missed out even being able to enter the Ballot due to only being on 6 Europa matches, even including Feyenoord

I think the main issue is not being told at the beginning of the season how potential finals will be allocated, I chose to miss the Bologna group game as I had seen them the previous year and YB due to the kick off time. If I had known from the start that this would affect it dramatically, I probably would have made different choices

It would have been good to also have known how many people qualified for each category so that we could manage our expectations

Anyway, not to worry, i'll still be in Istanbul with a ticket courtesy of Ticombo

Forest fan here, I come in peace! I was successful in the UEFA ballot and I have 2 tickets for sale for the final. However I have tried to sel them on Ticombo (who seem a good site BTW) and I have discovered that the ticket which I purchased in my name cannot be transferred. I had arranged a sale with a Villa fan (who was a great bloke and very understanding of my mistake), but this had to be cancelled as he wanted both tickets.

So I definitely have 1 ticket for sale as I can transfer this no problem, and if anyone know how to circumvent the UEFA restrictions there is possibility of another (but I cant see way around this).

If anyone on this site is interested please let me know. Tickets have just been released by UEFA so they are in my wallet. This is a genuine post

I don't think there is a way, from what I have read.

What is the returns policy with UEFA?

It’s blooming frustrating. Everyone in our group (3 of us) got a ticket apart from one, the resale prices are shocking at the moment. At this rate he’ll be stuck watching in a bar in Istanbul on his lonesome.

There'll be a lot of fans in the same boat. Hopefully manage to organise something between us.
