All codes have been sent now.  Ah well, fair play to all those going.

Do we know if it’s going to be a name on the ticket that has to match passport details at the turnstile (as in Bologna) ?
We don't know, but if you're using someone elses code, your choices are use your name and run the risk of the club not cross checking or use their name and just hope you can skip any ID checks at the stadium.

I can't see them checking 40k IDs, but I guess there's a risk.

As an aside, is it normal practice to have to take your passport to away Euro games?

I haven't missed a Euro game yet and it's always been a bit different...some haven't bothered at all, some you had to show passport when you collected ticket at venue (clearly not happening for this one), in Bologna every ticket had date of birth which was checked against passport....so YES and NO, depending on the demands of the venue.
Makes passing tickets on (almost) impossible!
But I'm sure some of the smarter fans out there know a way!

I would guess if there's checks it will be limited - people already have tickets so it's not like they're checking people collecting tickets.

"Items to bring on matchday include:

Valid original ID. You will need to present it at the Ticketing Centre should you experience any issues with your match ticket or if requested to by police. Accepted forms of ID are: Passport, Turkish Residential Card, National ID Card and Driving Licence. 🪪"

I would chance it if you're in a position when you can use someone elses code.  Better you get stopped at the gate than they get banned by Villa (IF Villa do crosschecks)

So what happens if you get sent a code and then don't buy a ticket - do they get resent at some point the remainers on the list?

You’d assume so

Given the cost of travel, I had assumed everyone that wants a ticket would get one. Is that it, now, or are there more windows to buy them in later on?

That was my question. Surely there will be a few not taken up?

This is the last published window so unless there are some who registered but don’t buy that’ll be it with I’d guess a few thousand of us in the unsuccessful pile.

That's shit, sorry. Hopefully fans can still enjoy a great city and meet up somewhere to watch game, if they have already booked transport and travel.

I would imagine they either announce a limited window with any untaken tickets, or they will end up offering them to the hospitality types.

I’m sure they will and maybe they’ll snaffle any spares up

It is what it is….with such a poxy allocation so long as those that have travelled abroad in this competition this season all got sorted it was always a lottery for the rest of us
