Anybody else got tickets for, or hope to take, kids who are in school? I’m hoping to get one for me and my daughter tomorrow and I’m just wondering how to approach the school absence?
"Hi, I'm taking my daughter on a short cultural break to a European capital city."
"You're unlikely to get permission for that."
"Well I'm taking her anyway, so up your bum."
Depending on your local authority, the fine may never arrive.
The game's in Istanbul, not Ankara  ;)

Does anybody know which sections will be for Villa fans - mulling over buying from resellers so be useful to know. Thanks

Who are you looking at getting it through? Ticombo offer money back guarantee if the ticket doesn’t work.

As I understand it, the UEFA-sold tickets are based on category, not block, and you won’t know which part of the stadium you are in until the tickets are sent out the week of the game.

So I would avoid any claiming to be Villa end, as I’m not sure how they can know.

Does anyone here in cat 1 or 2 who has bought a ticket know which block its going to be in?

I’ve bought one from Ticombo, messaged the seller to ask which block it’s in and he doesn’t know until UEFA allocates it to him, just knows it is in a neutral area in tier 2

Have you used them before?

Yeh, all went fine previously

As is Luna Springs, if you don't mind the chance of being stabbed. Not linking to that one but just giving you options.

So if someone had been stabbed at Chris Brown, Foo Fighters etc  at Villa Park you’d worry about the next game at Villa Park?
Different crowd. No relevance .

Tis better to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Just avoid photos on SM.

How times change. League Cup QF in 84 at Goodison (the Handball game) my Dad just turned up at school and we were off. Told me in the car.

I locked in flights around the time of the Bologne game, 2 night hotel on the doorstep of Taksim Square, and a Fan First ticket (where hopefully a lot of the other regular away following are sitting, so that we don't end up with another Wembley semi final atmosphere debacle!) - All in all, £530. V Happy with that.

Smart-arse!

We didn't book anything until after the Forest game.

Yep I’ve managed to get Flights, Airbnb and Ticket for less than £500 so far but I’d imagine beer and food will increase that a bit.
