Amount of people complaining about a drum when they let people into the ground wearing that shite.

And yet, if there had been no drums when Ozzy played Villa Park, the same people would have complained about that. Bizarre!

Drums and half and half scarves are both equally and irredeemably naff.

I’ve got the Kula Shaker song in my head. That’s even worse than thinking about a drum at Villa Park.

Just took my 95 year old neighbour to vote - the queue was huge.

When she finally got to booth, she said loudly - "which box do I mark to stop the drums", and the whole place cheered, and spontaneously broke out into a chorus of Holte Enders in the Sky (full version).

Never seen anything like this before.

Like.

Sounds implausible in 2026. Maybe in '82

There was a version of, "I hear the sound, of distant drums"
Can not remember the lyrics

I hear the sound of distant scum
Over there, Over there
And if they come, we shall not run *

*I was about 14 at the time and in the school cross country team

And do they smell..... Like fucking hell
