Couldn't care less about the politics or how liked this group are, they are absolutely right, tomorrow night is about doing everything within our power to help the team win. I'll be shouting my voice ragged from K1.

Just as you would have done without this message. We don't need to be told how to shout. It's a semi-final, FFS.

So was the match vs Palace last season (in the FA cup), but you wouldn't know that from the lack of noise from Villa fans on that day.
So maybe they do need reminding...some more than others! I'm hoping the Trinity, Doug Eliis and Upper North stands don't wait for the Holte to invite them to get involved!

We lost that day because we were unbelievably shit on the pitch, and the noise from the stands reflected that.

Exactly. If Villa start well, the crowd will be very loud. If we see Tottenham-style timidity, not so much.

I know why we lost.
We were also woeful from the stands from start to finish, irrespective of performance.

What is the 1897 group's sectarianism? Have I missed something? Don't tell me they're part of Zack Polanskis boob-enlarging Islamists are they?

How about the fans be very loud before the Villa players start and continue throughout the game.

Bradford in 1988.

My second ever game as a 7 year old. I thought it would always be like that. It wasn’t.

Heard rumors at least one of them was... shocking stuff.

I don't like organised nonsense. We shouldn't have to do anything to get the crowd going for this match. But if this sort of message helps build a sense of occasion what's the harm?

No harm whatsoever, but also this is site is choc full of grumpy old geezers so to expect universal acclaim was always going to be a stretch.

Drums and sectarianism given an amnesty for one evening only!

It is old but it is beautiful and its colours they are fine
It was worn at Wembley, Anfield, Old Trafford and the Sty...
My father wore it as a youth in bygone days of yore
So on the 7th I proudly wear, the scarf my father wore.

🤣🤣👏👏👏 that is funny!

I have to agree, doubt I will be on Trinity Road at 6.15, but good on anyone who is. I don’t like the organised stuff and hate the “lets make some noise” but if this gets people engaged then I don’t see the harm to be honest

If it meant going through tomorrow night, I’d quite happily have Cliff Richards do a pre-match turn.
