Indeed there’s not much to be confident about. We’re behind, we’ve been rubbish of late, and the opposition are flying. Still it’s a one off game, so you never know.

We need to create an atmosphere on Thursday that we haven't seen in quite a while. Fuck all the negativity, if you don't believe & you're not ready to rupture your lungs, stay at home.

We need to match Forest for their physicality & intensity. If we do that I'm confident.

Weirdly I’m more relaxed about Thursday than I was a week or so ago, when I was still confident but with some doubt and anxiety.

It seems weird to be underdogs at home to Forest with present league positions and past very poor record at Villa Park. It will be interesting to see the bookies odds for this now. I can imagine Forest are strong favourites.

We seem to always bottle the pivotal games under Unai. I think we’ll get Champions league football, but boy what an anti climax that will feel after losing yet another semifinal.
