Why are we under more pressure now? Forest are a goal up and have it all to lose, we have rested players and will give it 110%.  The pressure is all on Nottingham Forest.

Disagree. Forest are playing well and full of confidence. Villa are the total opposite.

I shall need to find somewhere in Tarragona where I can watch this game.

I don't think you'll be stuck chap. There's plenty there and Salou is a cab ride away.

Great, so the weight of expectation is on Forest. We have nothing to lose, so let's give it 110% on Thurday night.

Who knows what sort of Villa will turn up to any game we play, (let alone the Europa league semi-final on Thursday)? After nearly 50 years of being a fan, I've never managed to find the answer!

Probably (hopefully!) end up winning now: how we do it following recent games, fcuk knows!

If McGinn can't play I'd literally rather have Maatsen wide right than Sancho. I'd rather put Ollie on the wing and Tammy (who shat it badly but still) up front than Sancho. If Sancho starts on Thursday it's time to ask him where the kompromat is and what Emery's doing in it.

Would Marinakis choose CL qualification over relegation? You might make up the money lost from not being a PL club but imagine having to navigate all those Tuesday night Championship league games along with facing Bayern and Bruges!

Ten years ago if you'd said we would have the chance of making a European final, within a scenario like this, we would have thought we were in dreamland. Absolute dreamland.  Genuinely, folks, please snap out of it, we all love this great club - the grandest of clubs. Grasp the bigger picture and do everything in your power (and our collective power) to lift our incredible Club into its second major European Final on Thursday night.  We can do it.  UTV

Nah. We've been one of favourites from the start, have comfortably navigated our way through and now look likely to choke. This is all a bonus for Forest after a season of struggle. There is no pressure on them whatsoever.

I think the trouble is it feels like it's now or, if not never, at least a really really long time. It's so easy to slip back into the muddle, and so extremely hard to keep competitive. Not to mention the whole system trying to stop us from progressing into a top-table club of any permanence, it's hard not to feel frustrated that every time we seem like we're about to make that extra step we piss in our own mouths.

I saw on the Newcastle thread people were saying that they sold their soul and got nothing in return. But they at least got a pot out of it. Crystal Palace, Leicester, Newcastle, Spurs, West Ham have all won something in recent years, so we know it's possible. I'm not suggesting we get all spoiled or entitled or anything, but it is saddening to think that we might come out of this really promising era with nothing to show for it.

It was now or never against Man United last day of the season as well. Yet...here we are. Again.

My point is it doesn't feel sustainable, or at any rate solid. We could slide down any time (especially with performances like some we've seen this year...).

Yet...here we are again, where we've been for the past 4 seasons.
