This was a similar performance to the Forest away game, I felt, with the same fine margins falling this time against us and the same lack of clinicalness in our finishing. Perhaps one difference was in the centre of the park, where we were weakened by Onana's absence.

I think that one difference was fundamental thought. We looked disjointed and passive - whereas for good chunks of the game against Forest we battered them, we just didn’t have a clinical edge.

Onana has played in games where the opposition snapped at us like Fulham did today - most of the Palace games in recent memory.  And hasn't made a whole pile of difference. His passing tends to be even more erratic in those scenarios.

So not sure his absence is the reason why we phoned it in this afternoon.

Felt like several of the Europa League group games where we played in first and second gear and did just enough to get the result without overly extending ourselves. Tougher to pull off that routine in the PL.

Agreed, I thought we played quite well at Forest. Missed two absolute sitters to win it. No show today.

I thought the chances we created today were just as good, and we really should have scored.

Funny old game from this Fulham fan, I don’t think either goalkeeper had a serious save to make, I still think we’re a bit toothless, I wonder if Emery was overthinking the Europa semifinal? we’ve been quite solid most of the season, but always seem to concede a goal, you didn’t seem to create much today not sure if you were that bad or we were that good, anyway good luck in the Europa league if you win it we might even creep into the conference league lol!! I’m pretty sure your guaranteed Champions League football, all the best for the rest of the season

Thanks Franky. Not our best performance, but on the day, your lads deserved it.

All the best to you, too!

This tepid slow play gets my blood boiling, it starts with the keeper and spreads through the defence, passing backwards passing sideways even when we were a goal down and a few minutes left. The attitude of some players needs addressing, where was the aggression, the fight, even our captain who has been brilliant the last few games seemed out of it. I would rather see one of the young reserves given a chance than see bailey stealing a living.

All the best London Franky. To answer your question, both teams were poor in a very dull game.

We need to liven up fast, because Forest is going to be a very difficult tie/occasion; due to it being an all English semi final and all that, (not withstanding their recent resurgence in form).

Also CL is not done. I think we will qualify, but it is not in the bag yet. Given our history against Citeh & Liverpool and our tendancy to choke on the big stage, we do not want to go into the last two games needing anything.

That said, I do think we will scrape into 5th place.

Agreed, we had enough chances to have taken a point at least.
