What’s wrong with Onana then?

Bogarde is the first obvious Onana replacement, not Luiz.

I think it's great that Unai, the squad and most supporters feel comfortable with Bogarde starting as Onana is injured / tactically rested.

Come on Villa boys. Win today does a lot of psychological damage to the teams below us and puts us 3rd till Monday at least.

What’s wrong with Onana then?

I remember him going down towards the end of the Sunderland match but he played on afterwards. So hopefully just a knock.

Onana out is a big blow.

Play well and win Villa.

After last week's performance Sancho doesn't even deserve a place on the bench.

Fingers crossed.  Would be very annoying to lose him for the semi final.

No Ross? Thought he was a first choice for league games now. Bogarde is scared of doing anything attacking.

I’m nervous about this with Bogarde in if I’m honest.

No Bogarde performance this season is giving me cause for concern. Actually think he deserves game time.

So is Martinez. Luckily, that isn't his job, either.

On Amadou Onana's absence: "He was not feeling good yesterday. He had some small pain. We have enough players to play, we are here being consistent. We are not thinking when we do not have some players. We have 25 players and every player must feel comfortable to play in the structure that we have."

Barkley can do what Bogarde does and play a bit too.

Bogarde is decent enough.

Doubts over Bogarde have probably come due to his recent shows at right back.

Hopefully he'll be fine in his more favoured role.
