we're creating nothing
the only two real efforts were Rogers and Watkins, and they made those themselves.
Someone needs to control midfield.

Feels like this might be worth a green win-draw saver bet

Our passing has been horrible (Pau unusually the worst culprit). Time and time again Martinez has the ball and we end up trapped in our defensive right corner. When that starts to happen it usually means we’re going to be shit.

We’re in big trouble here, other than those couple of bigs of play from Rogers and Watkins we’ve looked really flat. I know it’s harsh but Bogarde is just noticeably lower level. We need a big second half here.

The problem with Bogarde, and I know people defend him (he is only a kid), but what does he actually do and what is he good at?

I think we’ve given the ball away more times in tha half than any other game I can remember in recent years.  Some of that is undoubtedly because Fulham are full of energy in how they’re pressing.  They’ve also had a good run of the ball with some fortunate ricochets.

We need way more umpf.

that goal is on Martinez - it was straight at him and he pushed it right into the danger zone - poor

Header from a few yards away, very harsh. Bogarde lost his man and at fault for me. Great cross.

He’s like the archetypal utility player. No specialism. I don’t rate him

Need to make a few changes at break. Midfield have been dreadful.

Missing Onana.

Yet another of those occasions where we have the chance to lay down a marker, put a teeny tiny bit of pressure on Man U and show the watching world that we mean business.

And we decide to not bloody bother.

Agreed. I don’t see what Emery sees in Bogarde. I’d have much preferred Doug in there today. More careful and creative with the ball

No Bogarde performance this season is giving me cause for concern.

This one is.

Bogarde is well of the pace and Buendia only plays well against tiring sides. How many times do we pass to cash in defence and we tie ourselves in knots, cost us a goal last week. McGinn has been quiet so far and Tielemans is struggling with the pace. Hope to see better second half.

Not concerned just yet. We're often a bit flat in first halfs.

Barkley needs to come on here, maybe on the hour and make things happen. I like Bogarde a lot but he doesn’t offer much going forward…Barkley on, push Buendia forward a bit and go at them.

Need to make a few changes at break. Midfield have been dreadful. Would get Maatsen on for Digne too.

Me too.

Not convinced about Digne taking corners from right without a short option, either. It clearly signals an in-swinger into the box, which they have dealt with.
