that goal is on Martinez - it was straight at him and he pushed it right into the danger zone - poor

Header from a few yards away, very harsh. Bogarde lost his man and at fault for me. Great cross.

Bogarde had three players attacking his side and no one helping to cover. At the start of the move Sessegnon was level with McGinn who didn't respond when he sprinted forward.

Controlled walking football with no real danger from Fulham. We then create two glorious chances that both Watkins and Rogers should have buried. Concede out of nothing. Buendia for me needs to come off. Barkley on.

We need to stop this continuing playing out from the back. the only time at the end of the half, when Emi did go long resulted in us getting a corner, which resulted in us putting Fulham under pressure in their own half, for the longest time so far in the 45 minutes.

I think I'd reluctantly be looking to move Onana on in the summer. It's a shame because he's a great player, but if he's injured he's no use whatsoever.

And sadly, he's far too fragile, especially considering he plays in such a physically-demanding position.

Always going to be a tough one to call but the way Villa are playing its like we are focusing to much on Forest, win this and we are pretty much set for the CL anyway.

C'mon Villa, would love to see Ollie continue his goal scoring run today, sort this out Villa.

Watkins’ chance was a difficult one that he created himself. Rogers was a much easier one, which he created himself.

That’s all we appear to have at the moment.

The BBC match momentum stats look accurate, to me at least.

As it stands it will be one away league win in 2026.

It's bonkers how often I see this. I mean, this is our style now, and has contributed to our best era since the 90s if not the early 80s. We aren't going to become a long-ball team!

Only our front two are performing. I'd be thinking McGinn in with Luiz in midfield. Rogers left, Tielemans 10 and one of the gruesome twosome on the right.

Yet another of those occasions where we have the chance to lay down a marker, put a teeny tiny bit of pressure on Man U and show the watching world that we mean business.

And we decide to not bloody bother.

This for me. It’s like every time we had the chance to go top. Always blew it. I can’t work out why.
