So if all of the peripheral teams, us, the barcodes, Everton, palace started spending money they could not punish us all.
seeing how long it has taken to challenge Citeh and the piss poor fine for Chelsea, maybe worth a punt.

Yes, it needs combined support of clubs outside the Sky 6 (Spurs don't really fall into the top 6 category, certainly not on the field)
Perhaps the top clubs outside the Sky elite could launch a legal challenge against these outdated rules. There's enough financial muscle, especially Newcastle and others - perhaps  ironically, by employing the Man City lawyers? That should buy us at least 4 years of legal wrangling! To think that City's charges date back to February 2023, and still no verdict, especially as the court case was wrapped up in October 2024. A complete joke!

What irks me at the moment is the media totally ignoring what Cheatsea have done and carrying on as normal - as if it never happened at all. Regardless of the punishment, they were found guilty of cheating and that cheating leads into everything the club are doing now, and I include the Ladies side who are also benefitting from this.

At least Stockport 115 have not actually been found guilty of anything so far, no matter how guilty we think they are, Chelsea are cheats. It may be in the past but until the benefit of that cheating is addressed properly in the form of sporting sanctions or at least the removal of any honours gained during that time then everything they do going forward remains tainted.

And it seems no-one in the broadcast media is brave enough to mention it.

This is why I care less and less about football in general. Getting worked up about silly things like actual matches seems pointless

What I don’t understand with the Chelsea one is they seem to have cheated just for shits and giggles - if those figures had been included they wouldn’t have broken the rules so why bother

Why don't we make loads of backhand payments and dodgy sponsorship deals then sell the club on paper to one of the owners Brothers then self report ourselves for cheating and take a £10m fine and carry on?

Dave’s prevailing point here is not to ask for permission or even mount any sort of legal challenge; it’s just about just completely ignoring the existing structure therefore completely removing it’s legitimacy. I am very much in favour of this.
