And don't forget their twat fans on twitter and in their shit podcasts, those AFTV bell ends, banging on about it as if we've got an obligation to sell to them.

Said it once, say it again, they're far and away the most cringe, embarrassing internet fan base.

Garner is unlikely given our priorities isn’t he?

I think we need another midfielder for sure. Tielemans gone, Onana injured for the season effectively, Kamara coming back from an injury, Manzambi probably likely to be the Rogers replacement, Bogarde and Barkley not looking convincing towards the end of the season, no Luiz and doesn't look like happening...

We do still need another attacking wide player too (with Bailey and Guessand hopefully off) and a new full back either side. Maybe others, a 91/92 style rebuild really.

🚨 Ezri Konsa is Arsenal’s first-choice defensive target.
@SamiMokbel_BBC

‘Bracing’ myself for the inevitable bid of £10m and a packet of crisps offer that we should be ‘grateful’ for.

Garner would have been a great signing on a free. Does sound like we wanted him in January. We've got room for 1 more in centre mid if we sell Bogarde and Barkley.

Rumours about us being in for Garner at Everton. I’d love it, LOVE IT if we signed him.

Sadly the source has as much inside knowledge as me.

Garner kicked us all over the park when we lost to them at home. I’d love him here

Should have gone for a pull on Rogers at the edge of the box if memory serves. Can he play as well as foul?

Correct, except it was a push.

Skillset and spirit of SJM, which will need replacing eventually. Would cancel the need for RB cover too.

Don't think he's as mobile or good a ball-carrier as McGinn but he's a good passer, versatile, strong and has great delivery from set pieces. I'd like him. Probably depends on whether there's a CL release clause in his new contract, which was signed in January before the market went bonkers, so mightn't be as crazy as one might think.

After Delph / Youri / Grealish, it would be nice to be on the buying end of a favourable release clause for a change.

Even without I reckon we need a centre mid with Onana out. It's such a key area for Unai that not being strong in there will hurt us.

What's so good shout Garner? Is he an Elliott Anderson-lite version?

He's a good player for sure but I'd have thought Gomes a very similar profile.

The Connor Gallagher thing does suggest that we felt there was a space for another midfielder, regardless of others moving on.

Wouldn't it just. Having been on a free with a lot of interest, his agents not putting in a release would be a surprise

At £30-35 mill they basically don't want Konsa.

Spot on. They can fuck right off. They are just going round trying to unsettle players to hope they get them on the cheap.

Van Hecke for 55m with 12 months on his deal sets the bar. Konsa is better.

They need to go and sign another Club Brugge player for that money. You'd have thought they'd have learnt by now ref: Watkins and Rogers.

If we are in for Garner it is a very good move, he is a good age and would compliment Gomes well. I do wonder if that contract had a top 4 release clause in as it only had 6 months to run and Everton needed him to sign a new one.
Yes. Get him for top £30M  I would say. Good investment.
