Ridiculous.

One step forward with money coming in for Rogers and 2 steps back with a loan for someone that seems a dressing room harmony disaster and pretty poor performances on the pitch.

Didn't lots of people say that Rashford was a bad influence in the dressing room? Also, Sancho. Hardly a roaring success on the pitch but I didn't hear any rumours of problems behind the scenes despite advance warnings.

Maybe just trust that Emery does his research into things like this and wouldn't consider bringing in a player he expected to be disruptive.
Exactly where I am, it might be a bit of a last chance saloon, as it was for Sancho who didn’t take it.
But I think we are still trying to max value and that means taking a risk.

The PSG one seems to be less of an issue. Digne going is more about the wage bill than the transfer fee

Is this some sort of PSR fiddle going on between Villa and Chelsea? Some sort of angle in play here.

Are we allowed to do a deal with Chelsea now, the same goes for PSG should Digne move there?

Not for 45 days as I think for the profit to be booked as is?

I think that’s for permanent transfers.

If we’re loaning Garnacho, whilst there will probably be a fairly chunky fee it suggests we’re spending elsewhere.

What is the loan fee likely to be, £15m or so? If we get similar for Bailey, I guess it's not a bad swap.

Get a few baltis in him, show him round the Rotunda, and he'll be right as rain.

Eyes water if it’s £15m. They signed him for £40m. Surely it’s transfer amortisation at most: ~£8m

I trust Unai, he can have whoever he wants. Apart from right wingers. We need someone else to choose

As long as the loan fee is part of the buying fee and the total fee is no more than £40m, the price Chelsea paid Man U last summer.
The video of him posted is rather impressive until you see his stats last season;

24 PL appearances - 1 goal.
A total of 43 appearances across all competitions - 8 goals, 4 of them were in the League Cup.

Why does Unai always think he can pull a fit, flaky bird and make them fall in love with him? Mate, fuck these "project" players off. Zaniolo turns-up on his first day with pink boots in a fcuking Spar bag. Sancho was afraid of his own shadow.... just choose someone plain but effective from the Lowlands or the Bloc ffs.

Like Gomes?

Not geographically, obviously, but effective.

I think when I looked on WhoScored, his best ratings came from league cup campaigns, so maybe!

🚨 NEW: Unai Emery is understood to be convinced he can revive Alejandro Garnacho’s career. Emery is targeting the addition of wide players this summer to give his squad more pace & unpredictability.
@JPercyTelegraph

🚨 Ibrahim Mbaye is also under consideration, with Villa also eyeing a move for Nicolas Jackson.
@JPercyTelegraph

🚨 EXCL: Al Hilal reach agreement with West Ham United to sign Crysencio Summerville. Deal for 24yo #WHUFC winger worth ~€80m...West Ham hit the jackpot.
