A loan with an option (not obligation) isn’t the end of the world.

It's about attitude really.
Rashford saw us as a stepping stone, as he wanted the move to Barça. But, to get that move, he had to work hard and show his desire for us for six months. He did that in spades.
Sancho saw us as beneath him. One goal, barely any assists, a refusal to track back or get within the same postcode as a tackle. He wasn't trying to win a deal from us, he just wanted the 300k a week to sit and count.

Garnacho is a headcase. A talented headcase, but has so much form for annoying teammates and splitting dressing rooms. He's hardly likely to come to us with an intent to win a contract, as he'll have already annoyed half the team before then.

I can't see SJM, Tyrone etc letting that happen

I guess we agreed to take someone from them as part of them paying up for Rogers.

I hope we have the ability to send him back in January if it isn't working out.

Sad face.

I think he’s better than Sancho, he’s more likely to take players on, Sancho doesn’t nor does Bailey for that matter
I like the directness about him he will have a go,

I’m just looking for the positives mate as it looks like we’re serious in trying to bring him in
He might well end up being a waste of time like Sancho, but I think there’s more about him in his playing style anyway,
i’ve given up on Sancho Bailey and Guessand I hope Garnacho if he comes doesn’t get added to the list.

Against my better judgement I'm going to trust you on this one but should he turn out to be another waste of space, I'm going to hunt you down and force feed you Francesinhas for a week. You've been warned! *

*Still time to change your mind. ;)

Ha ha i’m not saying I actually want him I’m just making a case for the possibility that we might end up with him

I do like the fact he takes players on though there’s not many to do that anymore, but obviously because he takes those risks he loses the ball quite a lot and also needs to make better decisions when he’s beaten his man

It’s not happened yet anyway, so we might all be getting our knickers twisted up for no reason

Loan deal would be fine, IMO, so long as there are no stupid clauses meaning we don't actually play him.

I'm fine with this if Unai wants to work with him. I'm also fine with people buying me free Francesinhas for a week.

A loan with an option (not obligation) isn’t the end of the world.

It really depends on the financial conditions of the loan. Paying Sancho £200k a week to bottle out of tackles and celebrate winning the Europa League like he'd done it all by himself was not my idea of a decent deal at least on our side.

Garnacho means the end of the Mbaye dream then ?

Could be the opposite… it could means this season’s budget is focused on one player (Mbaye), whilst the loan means the objective of signing two wingers is achieved.

Two wild cards to supplement the other attacking players: SJM, Buendia, Manzambi and Barkley.

I’ve always liked a maverick player, is Garnacho a unpolished gem with some skills or has he flattered to deceive and it’s caught up with him now. If Unai Emery brings him to Villa it will be interesting to find out

I’m sorry but that’s all I got

Plus you can never have too many Argentinians at the Villa.

Maybe will inquire about Enzo while we’re at it

You wait ages for a bus, and then two come at once. Bayern are reported to have paid Chelsea £13m for a one season loan of Nicolas Jackson.

TalkShite reporting it now.

"It is also understood that as well as Garnacho, Unai Emery's men hold firm interest in PSG starlet Ibrahim Mbaye."
