Have a peek at Asda Minworth.
Amazing.  I imagine they do a delightful Tortilla de Patatas and 3 for 2 on all sorts of tapas delicacies.

If Juventus really want Martinez, they'd better stump up the cash pretty quickly because he's been brilliant tonight in the WC Final.

Fairly standard saves and no chance with the goal. Wouldn't say his reputation was enhanced nor diminished.
Standard they may be, but his positioning and early reactions made it look easy.  11 saves in a wcf and a pretty impeccable display.  I'd say his reputation is enhanced.

Agreed, he was their best player by a mile. He's probably a bit sad he didn't get to do anything really outrageous though while his team-mates were going full Argentina.

On one of the Bham history pages was this picture of the first day of trading at Asda (then Carrefour) Minworth. No, no, my pleasure.

I wouldn't be selling anyone else no. For me, it'd be a hard no on Martinez or Konsa now, even if we have to take a hit on Konsa in 12 months.

I'd say we still need a left-back, a right-back and another two attackers. Is it looking like Estupinan, Royal, one of Summerville or Mbaye and Jackson?

It's a lot of business, we probably need to think about a centre-back too. Pau and Konsa only 2 years left, Mings and Lindelof ageing.

We back in for Ferran Torres yet?  After all,  Unai loves him and he now has some cash to splash. Wouldn’t be a transfer window without a link to him.

Out of contract in 12 months too.

My 14 year-old son (my go-to foreign football correspondent) doesn’t rate him at all. But if Unai loves him, I’m willing to go with his opinion.

Read somewhere he is going to PSG. Might have been bullocks.

Feels like a sensible replacement for Gonçalo Ramos' "ten minutes off the bench" role.

Makes poor Tammy look like our Grant Holt.

You leave Granny Hobrahan alone, scored a couple of very important goals at the back end of the season and will be important next season.

I really hope the wide options we bring in are not Rowe and Summerville. Don’t think either are creative enough. One would be ok, but we need a bit of guile.

I'm old enough to remember Sir Brian's first forays into the transfer market, where we bought almost an entire team in his first few months, starting with Ian Taylor and ending with Savo. Some brilliant players, an unrecognisable starting 11 within 6 months.

I'm getting similar vibes here.
