We have just let Sancho, Elliot and Luiz go back to their clubs, lost their wages. Moved in Malen and Barrenechea for cash, lost Barry’s 35 grand a week. That must all add up to a tidy sum, even if we can’t go out any buy hugely. Can’t see us being in too much trouble. Surely?

Exactly this!  We are obviously being careful with money to meet the rules and the squad juggling is probably going to be even more annoying as summer goes on but we have to trust come deadline closing that we will have a competitive squad despite the uefa & PL handcuffs.

We also have to remember that even the Villa supporting ‘influencers’ who sensationalise every transfer tit bit that they are fed (& don’t have to verify) like money in the bank probably more than they like Villa so post for clicks and for profile to be the Villa voice to rent for broadcasters etc.
