Aston Villa Eyeing Kolo Muani Deal

According to French journalist Sebastien Denis, Aston Villa are 'in the mix' to complete a deal for Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani this summer.
Hope not; he's really not very good.

My Frankfurt supporting neighbour would disagree with you.  He was excellent there but didn’t quite cut the mustard at PSG, did ok at Juve and then poor bloke ended up at Spudz!.  Could be an Emery project similar to Asensio
it's the only way in which he's similar to Ascensio.

Just seen a link to Salah...  ;D ;D ;D

I've been waiting for that.  The Nas/Elmohady links made it feel inevitable (Marmoush too).

That sounds on the money to me. Unai can't resist a redemption arc.

I'd be up for it on the condition that Salah regrows his hair, enabling our first Boubah / Salah hair-off in midfield.

Bailey was excellent in Germany. Done.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is up for sale at WHU. Cash plus Tyrone if everyone can agree?...

We’d still need RB & LCH cover if we got rid of those two.

Can't see a player that limited on the ball fitting into any sort of Emery system.

No to Palhinha or Kolo Muani either, BTW.

Though have a horrible feeling we might be interested in Garnacho on loan, if he's still available at the back end of the window.

Blimey, I assumed Martyn meant money + Tyrone.

Don't see why (a) Cash would want to move to the Championship and (b) why we would replace him with somebody worse.

I'd imagine the only person on here likely to agree would be Sendo.

I've really come ot hate the transfer market. What should be a period where we see our club make smart moves and keep pushing on has become who do we need to sell that we value highly to buy other teams discarded pieces in the hope Emery Harry Potter's them into something more than we got them for. All while the clubs we compete against for the nice things are the ones buying the best players or at least spending with the intent of improving quickly. If we didn't have Emery we'd be fucked under these rules. He's the ace other teams don't have but he has to be frustrated not being able to do what other teams can. And now with another key player fucked for a year we will wait until the latter stages to add a player or two to finish off the squad. A team that finished 4th and won a major European trophy should be able to progress positively. The rules prevent us from doing that.

The rules are clearly restrictive for what we are trying to achieve, but by golly we have spaffed a fair bit of cash over the last few seasons.
