It might mean we definitely move for Bergvall which I wouldn’t be against.

In any event Onana was out a lot of last season and victor was a perfectly able deputy.  This might give us an opportunity to be smarter elsewhere.

He was an able deputy for a couple of games. That’s not criticising him, but I wouldn’t be placing too much reliance there.

We don't have to, Bouna is back. Lindelof could still do 10-15 games there next season if needed though.

I suspect if that did materialise we’d be in a spot of bother.

I wonder if with this injury - what we do though is still focus on a right winger still and deploy McGinn more in the middle.

I wouldnt be against dougie - I thought he slotted in well - and if we want someone for just the 1 season I can think of worse things.

We must have had an Arthur playing for us at some point in the past.

I worked with a bloke named Arthur Haynes who said he was on Villa's books and made two first team appearances according to himself.

Why? We've hammered Forest and Freiburg (and Liverpool?) when he played there. I'd trust us to do the same against other chumps, and we'd only have to do it a bit of the time.

Like I said I’d be wary of drawing long term suitability conclusions from a handful of games. I’m not saying he wasn’t great in those game, he was. That was brilliant, but that’s quite different from being the main back-up to a player who has a less than favourable injury history.

It wouldn’t shock me if we went back in for Connor Gallagher given Spurs signings this summer.

Nah, massive questions over that man’s judgement. Look at the hair, the hair proves it.

The hair is definitely questionable.
