Think the other thing we have to be conscious of is the ref, he's made some uncomfortable decisions, albeit not significant at that point of the game but something tells me he's got it in him to have an influence on the game come the time so we need to be careful with that one.

How do we be careful?

Abraham for Watkins is the obvious one. Barkley's doing well at 8, so risky one, but Luiz for Buendia, Barkley to 10, Rogers left and McGinn right could work too. Play the Elliot card when one of Barkley or McGinn tire.

Digne was embarrassingly poor for Dalot's chance.
Been pretty good therwise.

Done ok apart from once we're nearing the final third, no one doing well once we get there.

So far ok in a really poor game all round. I thought they would really go for us from the off, but they have been strangely passive.

Barkley and McGinn have given us much needed compusure in the middle of the park but as Neville said, we lack belief that we can hurt them.

Early on Digne had chances to break quiclky, but he was content to slow it down and play back and square.

Buendia has been Buendia and I hate to pile in on Watkins, but he has been atrocious.

The trouble is we have all seen this movie before and you know the longer this goes on, they are going to create at least one moment of magic and/or get a dodgy decision and the game will be up.

Neville is right we need to get at them, we need to believe we can beat them, attack them, I do think Carrick card up his sleeve will be Sesko

Thought Konsa was too deep and played him on

I would give Elliot a shot at this one because he's a player blooded at Liverpool, it in his DNA to go at Man Utd.

Garcia for Bogie would give us more intent on the right

Agreed, I thought the same earlier. He would have got on the end of at least one of those ball into the box.

Watkins's peevish booking is the excuse Emery needs to replace him at halftime. I mean, apart from the obvious reason.
