We are going to get a sending off (my guess is Bogarde) and a penalty against us

The other problem we have is there is no pace to break with, or quality of passing from the back to mitigate for that lack of pace. I can’t see any way this isn’t just going to end up with us penned in and wilting under the pressure.

Not good with Lamare at right back and two non-matchfit midfielders playing. A draw would be an achievement.

Too much to ask for a decent ref? Just for once at this shithole?

Anthony Taylor from Manchester refereeing Manchester United, what do you think?
Kavanagh from Manchester on the VAR

Sounds about right.

Would be nice if other teams could pick the officials they want n'all.

Anthony Taylor so I guess the answer is no.

Rogers has been free-wheeling since his last good performance and that was against this lot at VP. Press coverage from that has gone to his head to make him useless.

We can't obviously due to PSR issues. Refs are not cheap.

Are you sure about Kavanagh? On the BBC page it says Jarred Gillett - not that he's any good either!

Nah, since we’ve lost intent and focus he’s struggled as he’s isolated. It’s not dissimilar to earlier in the season when people were saying his head was turned in the summer, he didn’t care etc. Then he got back into form and was brilliant,

He’s really bloody good, but the team isn’t functioning and he’s part of that but it’s impactful on him too. It’s not about believing his on hype, anymore than his early season struggles were down to not being committed.

Thinking of Emi - he hasn’t been great of late, we need him to be fully switched on.
