To rub it in it sounds like Ramsey got sent off for a dive when he slipped then the wnakers equalised! Big game next week now

That's us, the team for the big occasion.
I shouldn’t have, but I laughed at that.

For the second game running and the third time during Michael Carrick's short spell in charge, Manchester United's opponents have a man sent off.

And we're not paranoid about PGMOL and VAR?

It’s tempting to do this.. but we only have ourselves to blame

Are you telling me this level of shitting the bed is down to losing three players.

Well clearly the replacements are not good enough, so yes.

First time he's had a cross. This is it for me; we have players that we don't play to their strengths.

But it is.  Our whole pattern of play depended on them

Tammy hits the bar. So he's just cost us the game.
That’s him dropped for the next game then.

It was fun while it lasted, but the 'rules' have worked and put us back in our place.

That is nonsense.

Why? We couldn't strengthen, this season looks to be slipping away from us, and with no champions league (potentially) next season, it will make it even more difficult.

Quite a few "ifs" there, but looks to be the way it's going.

The rules have not helped, but they've not forced us to:

- play the same starting line up over and over despite it not working (Watkins v Tammy for example)
- manage to have two midfielders worth 75m (50m of which we've actually paid) look like something from a Lambert era
- spend time, energy and money 'acquiring' a midfielder in Elliott who we can't actually use, even when we are desperate in midfield
- spend huge amounts of money on players who never actually play for us

People who are saying this is just the rules are just not paying enough attention to things.

Even without them there is no way we should lose at home to Everton and Brentford. Everton have been donating us 3 points at VP ever since we came up.

Quite possibly we're back to the discussion that was being had during our poor start to the season: the players have stopped listening to Emery.
