How have we become so bad in such a short space of time. It's the worst drop off I can ever remember in such a short space of time. Chelsea's wide players have murdered us and it's been allowed to continue for 3/4 of the game. Unai looks completely lost.

We've lost our starting midfield

I'll give you tonight, but not Brentford, Everton, Leeds and Wolves.

I don't see how Unai rebuilds this squad after such an abject period. And the painful thing is, almost everybody else seems like a step down.

They've been out since mid January

Injuries with an inferior squad, loss of confidence and not having a functioning striker. Thats why.

Not having a functioning striker, except the one who starts on the bench when the non-functioning one starts every time.

Injuries in a midfield, where we have a midfielder we brought in at the start of the season but aren't 'allowed' to use because, err, Monchi.

A midfield where we've got two players with a combined 75m value as stand-ins.

It's bullshit, and it is Emery's job to manage this, along with Monchi previously and whatever the new guy is called, but they have not.

And the season is disintegrating right now.

Our midfielder two are beyond terrible and they have Rogers and Buendia aiding them but all they mostly do is lose possession very easily. Chelsea exposed us thoroughly tonight.
Yep

What makes you think he and the backroom team are capable of a rebuild. They haven’t so far. We are still playing with those he inherited because our transfer policy has been so bad.

It was fun while it lasted, but the 'rules' have worked and put us back in our place.

To rub it in it sounds like Ramsey got sent off for a dive when he slipped then the wnakers equalised! Big game next week now

Ollie has been very poor. It's costing us a lot at key moments in games. Yes he can play well in some games, but he's not scoring and that at the end of the day is his job.
