Can we try and impose ourselves on the game please - sitting back and countering will not do it.

We're creating chances on the counter attack, something that more than suits Watkins, he just needs to finish them. There lies the problem. He needs to me more clinical, he's getting a masterclass from João Pedro.

Enjoyed that. Far more energy.

If Ollie was offside so was Pedro. Too bloody close and how do they know where to draw the cartoons.
They don't. They give some faceless stooge in Stockley Park the power to choose which frame to use. It's bullshit.

It’s ridiculous and everyone knows it. It’s as if it’s been invented by Trump and if it’s said it’s true, as that’s where the cartoon is, it has to be true.

I'd like answers on what happened to the 5cm rule for offsides. Or is that only for Liverpool?

The warning signs were there. The Emery of old would have done something about it.

It sort of feels like Gerrard football.  You know the 0-4’s after a plucky start era.

He won’t make any changes until it’s 1-3

You can’t say Chelsea don’t deserve to be ahead. By far the better team.

No point in feeling sorry for ourselves. The way we can address is play better and impose ourselves. If we don’t we will just wilt.

The really frustrating thing is fully automated VAR has been available for the last three years. The richest league in the world chooses not to use it. They prefer to give a bloke in a studio 100 miles away the power to choose which frame to use. I don't know why they choose to do that. It's a mystery alright.

That's the most pertinent point I've read on here all night.
