I said to the missus that Watkins hadn't trimmed his toenails so he'll be offside.

I honestly cannot see from the graphic they showed how you can say that he was definitely offside. It's ruining the game.

Oh bollocks.

Looked like an arm played him onside but hey it's Chelsea and now they get a VAR for them. We are fucked.

But you can't play the ball with your arm. I thought there was a new rule about that?

Correct but we have players ruled offside with their arm so how does it work?

Can we try and impose ourselves on the game please - sitting back and countering will not do it.

Well that was shit - I might be wrong but the jmage they showed on their goal didn’t look like it matched the real time

Chelsea look sharper and they're moving the ball with precision. We look lost and flat.

I fully expect a FT result of 1-3 or 1-4.

I'm at the game so was just wondering if anyone at home can clear something up.  When they showed the semi-automated still for our disallowed goal the Chelsea player had a blue flashing circle on him, but for their goal it was on Mings. What was that blue circle about?

Yep.  Aggression required.

Started brightly enough, but faded badly. The refereeing is beyond biased and VAR will make whatever decision they are told to. I'd be hauling off Buendia for Barkley and getting the ball to Bailey a bit more often. We can still get something out of this game, but the intensity needs to be ramped up instead just rolling over.

Enjoyed that. Far more energy.

If Ollie was offside so was Pedro. Too bloody close and how do they know where to draw the cartoons.
They don't. They give some faceless stooge in Stockley Park the power to choose which frame to use. It's bullshit.

Crunch time for Emery.
He needs to make the right decisions at HT.

Will be no changes. Then Digne Sancho and Barkley on after 65 mins, Tammy about 85. Maybe a 5 min cameo for Alysson to finish off when we’re 3-1 down.
Every blind man and his blind dog can see what changes are needed at half time.
No excuses Emery!!

Saw that at home - bizarre and inconsistent

We’ll go 3-1 down and then make some changes. There is a real air of weakness around the team.

I must be watching a different game, I think we have been shit all over the park.  Ollie's finishing is as bad as usual, Buendia has been anonymous, our centre backs look like they've just met.  Chelsea have been far better.  Corrupt or not, we have to compete much better than we are. Giving the ball straight back to them.

At the end of the day the reason we are losing is poor defence.  If anyone needs to come off it’s any of the back four

Let’s consign the myth that we look rock solid defensively with Mings in there to the bin. We don’t. How three players allowed Fernandez to make that pass is beyond me.

Hang in the goal was created on our right…blaming Mungs is wrong and not fair
