Is this Emery doing his Maresca or his Almorim or his Glasner.

This selection defies belief!

He knows the players best and he trusts them - we just have to go on that and hope they don't let him down.

This is Emery giving the finger. Bailey shouldn't be on the bench let alone start. If Emery wanted crowd support then he has a funny way of showing it.

I’m stunned, totally stunned. That team selection is not what I was hoping for at all.
Just hope we can stay in the game until the 75 minute changes……

Yes hopefully a rollicking from Friday and a vast improvement  but not hopeful

That's crap. What was the point of getting rid of Malen, to bring in Abraham? Joke selections.

"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results" said Unai, never.

I know we can never predict Unai's team selection correctly but this one takes the packet of biscuits.

Tammy should be in for Ollie.
Give Alysson a go over Bailey who should not make the squad.
Then I’d get Lindelof in the midfleid for the 1st half instead of Onana who clearly cannot run for a whole game.

Blackadder: "It's the same plan we used last time. And the 17 times before that."

General Melchett: "Exactly! That is what is so Brilliant about it. Doing precisely what we've done 18 times before is exactly the last thing they'll expect us to do this time."

Plan A does not work so let's go with Plan A.

If Emery wanted crowd support then he has a funny way of showing it.

That was my first thought.

I think he doesn’t want Villa in the CL next season so we aren’t a threat to Real Madrid.
