Barkley has to start to find that ball between the lines. Would push Rogers left to free him up in space where we cant be blocked in the middle so easily. Torres a must, Sancho our best wide option compared with Buendia or Bailey.

Absolutely no excuse not to drum this shite.

No good ever comes from the temple of custard.

1-0 to them.

Onana needs to be making a much bigger impact than he usually does and doesn't look like a £50m player right now: I think either play him further up the pitch or off the bench. We should play Barkley and Luiz as the MF pivot.
Barkley can't run, partnership with him and Luiz would be a disaster I think. Bogarde has been tried a few times and didn't perform. Onana is hiding. Massive problem in midfield.
Well, you may be right but we need someone in the middle with a bit of guile who reads the game. Barkley played in the deeper role for Luton so I think it's worth a shot against the league's lowest team.

Pointless playing Onana if we dominate possession. I don’t think he’s had a good game in a Villa shirt when we’ve dominated possession,

Could have done without this being a Friday night game - their fans will be well up for it. Also means the potential to ruin the entire weekend.

This is basically the last game that genuinely matters to them this season. The crowd will be up for it, if we start like we have of late it will completely play into their hands. We absolutely must make a fast start and now allow them to generate any belief.

For me, this has home win all over it. They really have picked up and ok are down, but we are not playing well at all.

Wolves are absolutely shit. We just need to be less shit to beat them. I realize that sounds obvious and I know it’s a derby and all that but if we have any pretensions of making it to the CL we have to beat one of the worst sides to ever play in the PL.

We’re wading in murkyish waters. Our detritus levels go up a notch at Wolves. Maybe sneak a draw.

No side has got more points in their last 10 away games than us (20).

An early goal will make the inbreds turn on their sisters/brothers/mom/dad. Imagine the fallout when they go behind in their cup final and realise that they’re not getting their oats.

In our last 8 visits to their place we have won once, drawn once and lost six. It’s never easy there for us and I’m expecting another hard night.
