I think we're still in good shape now that Bailey is off. Probably the worst half he's ever produced. Tammy and Rogers to carry us over the line.

Bailey wasn't that bad was he? Seems like I am alone in thinking he was alright, some good and some bad. Slipped for the red card incident. But I like how he has been so involved and around the box, he looks good. His problems come when he picks the ball up deeper.

Bailey was playing well.

Really?

I thought he was trying to do stuff but exhibiting absolutely no quality at all. Guessandian.

Shame cos I was quite enjoying that, had hoped we could've kicked on and started to find our groove again. Now we've got 45 mins of backs against the wall, with our knackered midfield getting even more knackered.

The narrative is the nasty Villa hatchet men have somehow found themselves a goal up, but that will soon be corrected. The Bizot foul wasn’t OTT.

If it was the other way round we'd be livid the goal stood, livid Digne is still on, livid if their keeper had stayed on and we'd have wanted a pen

Don't think it was a pen. The rest - yep lucky not to be down to 9.

Bizot took him knee high, how can anyone think it wasn't a red?
Thought it was a yellow personality

Red for me. As Digne's should have been.

Bizot didn't need to be 45 yards from his goal regardless of what followed

I'd get Konsa in, push Bogarde into midfield and sacrifice Barkley.

Yeh I can see that also. Had he been clean through on goal no contest, straight red. But he was still a long way out and on the left now down the middle. A yellow for me as well. Stupid tackle though and even more so being that far out.

At least Bailey gives the vague impression of a footballer. In fits and starts, admittedly.

Guessand looks like he's been dragged off a building site.

And never played football in his life.

We were due a bit of luck with decisions - but think we may be back even again.

What the hell bizot was thinking -  if your doing it do it more subtle don’t do it knew hight and he might have had a chance

Olsen never had that problem

Not really, the signed one could've been a red and we got lucky with the goal but that's it. Talk of 3 penalties is silly because none of them were even 50/50, and Bizot did get the expected red.

We might play better without Bailey.

Completely disagree, I thought it was very much OTT.

Decent half and then an idiotic passage of play in added time.  Bailey isn't the player you want pissing around with short corners, caught out completely at the back and then Bizot is rash and gets sent off.

Don Hutchinson on ESPN is such a wanker. Saying Trippier should be telling the ref at HT to even up the fact Villa didn’t have their goal disallowed. That’s what Liverpool used to do all the time apparently.
