We’re proving all those who doubted us they were correct. Part of the doubt was if we got injuries would we be able to stay the course? Obviously not by the recent results and inconsistencies. But the xg thing as annoying as it is provides some indication of chance creation leading to goals. And once the long range bombs stopped it exposed that we don’t create good chances and when we get them we don’t take them.

225 minutes without a home league goal. As we won every game at home for that stretch I could never imagine that stat as we lined up to play Everton, Brentford and Brighton.

No coincidence this follows ditching a very strong attacking threat in Malen.
