We have become the total opposite of pre Christmas team.

Lack of squad depth screws us over yet again. No idea what the answer is when the only way we can try to improve is by selling our better players every year. Rinse and repeat.

I think the squad's fine, to be honest.

But what are the odds of getting lengthy injuries to all three of our key midfielders at once?

Imagine Rice, Odegaard, and Merino are all out for Arsenal for the next three months. Their title challenge would be fucked and everyone in the media would be endlessly bemoaning their awful luck.

It's absolutely this, just rank bad luck.

We’ve barely crossed the halfway line this half.

The difference is that Arsenal would just go out and spend a few hundred millions to replace them. (Transfer windows permitting of course).
