I don’t want Lille in the next round!

Not a bad away trip!

How will it work? Will we just get drawn at random against a play off winner. Is it still country-separated at that stage or is possible that we could end up playing a team from a town signposted on Mere Green Island?

Not able to get down to the game tonight, working away and pissed off.

But that 2nd half was smashing and I loved the joy on the face of Jimoh-Aloba.

Fair play to Elliot, he performed well in the second half

He kept at it and his movement is very good. Was always going to be rusty. Very light on the ball compared to likes of Rogers and McGinn.

I think the bugle game was against Deportivo La Coruna

I thought Deportivo was the back of the Holte closed and Celta was the bugler. I was at both but it is around 30 years ago, which is scary.

Superb second half. Bogarde going into midfield changed everything, I thought he was excellent.

He was.

Plenty of energy, decent reading of the game and can play the simple pass well.

There a times when some clubs change their DNA from also rans to something special.
Hopefully we have made the transition, there just seems to be something really special about this squad regardless of the set backs and bad luck.
This.

I believe a draw on who plays each other in the playoffs with 9th/10th drawn against 23rd/24th. The ones we will be playing will be from then 15/16th v 17th/18th teams. Another draw will then be made to put the top 8 into each side of the bracket with 1/2, 3/4,5/6 and 7/8 being kept apart. Finally they will be put into a side as well. Draws not neccesarily in that order.

Wow what a turnaround. Ive lost my voice. A poor opening 50 mins but man the youngsters  did us proud tonight.

Elliot also showed he is a baller and can offer something.  We really do need to try resolve this situation.  Maybe make it 15 games or something like that so we can use him or remove the clause

What a game  changing ut is to have second legs at villa park. Delighted

He was uncertain at right back - unusual position for him, new angles, new passes - but very strong in the middle for the last 20 minutes - powerful physically and on his passing. I didn’t think the Glassman was poor, unlike Bronte above, but every time he got involved I found myself wishing he rather didn’t, for fear of injury.

Well done JJA, your dream is all of our dreams.

The match before that we had a promising 18yo come on and score to get us a win from a losing position.

Hope there’s another video of his family watching.

Not good memories of Celta, including the referee blowing up a week early at the Hawthorns.

But seriously I fancy us against anybody, if our players could just stop breaking bones.
