Celta have knocked us out of Europe both times we've played them. They battered us at VP in that 1-3, which I think was bugler boy on the tannoy that night.

Was that the Benny Mccarthy hat trick game?

Unai got the subs spot on.  Lindelof made a difference when he went into midfield, what a signing he's turning out to be!  Game a bit too quick for Hemmings but a good learning point for him.  Three cracking goals for Villa and some lovely football played at times.  Several put to shame by the kids but I guess we knew we were through and were saving themselves.  A few nice bits and pieces for Elliot but a bit rusty too.  Bailey, Abraham and Luiz all to come into the squad.

He was very lively when he came on. Strong too and composed for the winner. Good cut back from Young too.

Nope. Mostovoi was a different class that night.

I doubt we can as I think we have used up the money allocated for him. Of course Liverpool could change the terms of the loan agreement but I doubt it.

Assisted by Young the younger as well. Beautiful.

A routine match turned into a wonderful story.

They can kick lumps out of us on the park, tie our hands behind our back financially, but we never surrender.

Ohh ohh ohh, the guns of Aston...

Yes, great composure. Must have been tempting to smash it as hard as he could.

Superb second half. Bogarde going into midfield changed everything, I thought he was excellent.

JJ took his goal well and could have scored 3. It's a good sign he knows to get into good positions and keep his composure.

Well done Prince Will.Couldn't have been easy getting the night off on a Thursday.

Fortunately, it didn't clash the King Charles film premiere.
