Unusually for our trips there, we're giving as good as we're getting. Started to tire though, and will probably need to freshen up to keep it up as the second half goes on.

We will need to survive the first 10-15 min in the second half because they will come out fired up. If we can settle in quickly and quiet the crowd we can do this today.

Watkins… it’s a real shame because he’s done great things for Villa.  But he is totally shot.

Great performances elsewhere though.  What are the locals boing by the way?  That they’ve got every fucking half decision?  ******.  I really do fucking hate this team.

I'm worried that was our good half!

Need to watch Gordon.

Got to make Joelinton get sent off. He’s on the edge.

Best thing for Watkins to do is shoot early then he won't have to think.
We pretty much controlled the half they had a couple of sniffs but standard for Martinez
Buendia has been amazing covered every blade and scored a worldie.

Nanface has one trick.  It’s effective but one dimensional.

Very good half. We have played well. Having said that it is all about the save in the first minute. That goes in and it is a completely different game. Onana has been immense. Newcastle are disapponting. The front three have been really poor. I like Miley though he is a very good player.

He’s not shot - lots of his play is enabling us to have so much space and get up the pitch. His final ball needs to be much better though.

Excellent so far.

Note to Sky - enough with endless replays and close.ups. And yes Bruno is out - we get it. But we are missing Kamara and McGinn too remember.

He looks like a player with the world on is shoulders mate. You are over egging his contribution.
