Marvellous how this Manager can get the best out of a team. I've been very vocal about Sancho but he was good tonight, repeat that regularly and it will be like a new signing.

Great relief not to play 2 extra games.

Don’t know about anyone else, but I got the feeling if Sancho had had more game time, he would have scored more than one tonight. He’d have been a second quicker which would have made all the difference. Of course, he’s got to earn it.

But Maybe we need to play him into form. I haven’t checked but it feels like we’ve spent more time hoping Guessand makes it.
Maybe we’ve been backing the wrong one..?
Sancho was mostly useless apart from his goal.

I'm no fan of Sancho, but I have to disagree.

He played well.
We played really well. Largely bossed the first half and the first 10 mins of the second half and saw out the last 10 mins or so comfortably. They had about 20 mins in the middle where they threatened and Mings, Lindelof snd Bizot handled it.
Well done to them all and a really angry Unai

I thought Sancho was excellent, needs to carry that into the league now.

I wasn't expecting much out of tonight's game, so was pleasantly surprised at the win and performance.

Only gripe for me is how wasteful we were in front of goal.

Lots of plus points tonight, Tyrone looked good, much better Sancho, Bizot definitely can claim that as a clean sheet, Onana coming back thank the Lord, on the debit side Ollies tribulations still not over. Slightly wasteful in front of goal again which could have cost us. Good result in a notoriously difficult environment.

Sancho was good tonight. Infact that 3 behind Ollie were on a different level. Is it too much to ask for Sancho to do that on a regular basis?

If that ended 1-4 they could not of complained.
Really need to be more clinical when opportunities arise. Like to think Tammy will be a little sharper around the box.
Sancho a bit better but does bottle even 60/40's in his favour.
Good that Morgan got some rest and Pau / Konsa a well deserved night off.

After a week of doom mongering a welcome return to winning ways. Now let's kill the ghost of St James on Sunday

Great win at a very difficult place to play, apparently they haven't lost there in something like 27 games.
