That wingnut div Jonathan Wilson was the Guardian reporter on the game yesterday, he's followed up this morning on the '10 things' feature making it all about Tammy and whether he can make his already permanent transfer permanent in the summer.

Deary me.

I'm surprised he didn't make it all about some utterly forgotten Sunderland fullback from the 1970s in the second division. 'Villa's late winner shows enduring influence of Jim Scratching'.

He's clearly the match reporter as the hospitality is nice at Villa and he'd get to watch his team, then we've scorched his report on Sunderland's amazing comeback and he's had to write that bit up in the Uber back to the station after a few light ales.

'This article was amended on 20 April 2026. An earlier version stated that Tammy Abraham was on loan at Aston Villa; however, the striker joined the club permanently in January.'

I'm just surprised they didn't delete the whole article, such is the bollocks he wrote.

They removed my comment pointing it out.

They’re pretty liberal with removing posts. There’s a nose on there who used to be a contributor and I think has some mod access, because he posts mental conspiracy theories about Villa and if you reply saying he’s bonkers your posts get deleted instantly.

Yeah it's not the first time this season for me. I did say they should stick to in-depth pieces about Harry Maguire's breakfast choices or if Guardiloa likes cats, which might have tipped them.

I'd never do that on the public forum, I emailed him that direct.

A man of honour. Respect.
