Do you (eastie) know if Meathead's mum in law is going to Benidorm again this year in April? I am there and would like to catch up with her :D

Not in April, she's booked July 11-13th.

Just to add to our injury woes, Matty Cash has picked up an ankle problem. UE is hopeful John will return possibly in the next week or two.

Cash hasn't looked fully fit since coming back from injury. Bogarde is definitely not the answer at right back in his absence. Konsa is going to have to move out there and hopefully rebuild his confidence a bit. Lindelof will get back in next to him.

Hmmm might be a blessing.  Better defensively and might re-focus some minds.  Something needs a change and reverting to overloading the left - our tried and tested tactic - might be easier than Emery inventing something new.

This weekend marks 6 weeks since Tielemans was injured.
Hopefully he is making good progress.

If we get to the other side of the international break still in the top 5 then it will be a miracle. Not of our making, but caused by the difficulty everyone else seems to have putting a run together. With our boys coming back, refreshed and rating to go, we will get over the line.

I think Emery has a concern playing Torres and Maatsen together on that side. With Buendia or Rogers, who hardly tracked a single run last night, in front of them. I get the concern. But that's on the assumption that Mings and Digne are still defensively more solid. That assumption is flawed.

I hated Konsa at right back before but Lindelof is far better than Diego Carlos for one. Torres and Maatsen on left. Should try it v Lille anyway.
