Draper follows Raducanu in withdrawing and Brits are played four, lost four, so far.

I used to love Wimbledon back in the day but now it's just greedy feckers grunting non stop. The days of being excited when Foster or Bates made round three.

It ended up out of the 10 matches completed by the Brits all 10 lost, the most defeats on an opening day in the Open Era, which started in 1968!

Great performance from Otto Virtanen, ranked 137, beating no 4 seed Ben Shelton, 11-9 in a 5th set tiebreak, a cracking match.

4 out of 9 British winners today, a lot better than yesterday's 0 out of 10.
