Hopefully, but it was poor. Warrington has nothing left and Wood wasn't taking any chances.

I'm currently watching my first- and hopefully last-ever Commonwealth International title fight.

Last night Michael Conlan, one of the more reprehensible boxers in the world, lost and retired. Tonight Tyler Denny, an all-round nice guy from Rowley, is fighting for the British middleweight title.

Tonight Moses Itauma, IMHO a future world champion, faces his biggest challenge to date, when he fights American Jermaine Franklin in Manchester. Unfortunately for me it's on DAZN, which I have not got and have no intention of getting, so will have to make do, with listenng to it on Radio 5 live.

Good win for Liam Davies, Shakiel Thompson is looking good.

Sounds another very impressive performance from Itauma.

Stunning. All round it was the best card for a long while.

That finish was stunning….enjoyed Frampton trying not to swear about Franklin corner thinking the fight shouldn’t have been stopped.

Itauma is some fighter but like most would like to see how he boxes in the 10th/11th round against someone who hits back, Franklin was game and threw a coupe of shots but he was all about survival from 1st bell

The problem is, who will want to fight him that's good enough to give him a decent test? They're all eyeing the winner of Wardley/Dubois and waiting to see what happens with Usyk. Nobody anywhere near their prime will want to risk getting stopped by Itauma.

True enough, Dave.

He's not infallible, but from the 'eye test' the few fighters who have the ability to challenge him are all 35+. They're looking for legacy fights and big paydays.

Itauma would be a massive risk for any of them.

It's almost inevitable he'll fight Dubois in the next couple of years, which will be interesting.

Absolutely - Dubois didn’t look enthused by the opportunity either, Wardley would like the pay day but might want to go prime Julius Francis and the sell the advertising space on sole of boots
