Fair play to Rodgers he's straight in there

And young Lamar and Youri sprinted over as well to make his feelings known.

Also Thomas Frank

"If we played two halves like that, we would have won"

And yet we still had one cleared off the line, and would have had a third if the ref had played advantage.
Yea but putting that aside and if they were not playing a competent outfit Frank is bang on right.

1st half totally dominated. 2nd half we needed to keep them quiet and nullified them, we let them back in and they had 15 or so mins where they looked a threat. We then came back in to it and saw the game out. To go away at Spuds in the 3rd round and be in the draw is fantastic, but Unai won’t be happy the way we were sloppy and gave the ball away, esp 2nd half.

There should be a public holiday on Monday to celebrate Tootenhams amazing second half display. It was beyond belief. According to BBC anyway

The funniest moment was the commentators realising, with 1 minute of injury time to go, that Villa were probably going to win after all.

The only way the "entertainment" quota could have been increased was if we'd had a bit of first class Martinez shithousery to really wind up Spuds and their numpty fans.

Not a patch on VP, though.

One of my grandchildren went to the game, their first away game. Not home yet, but absolutely buzzing apparently.

Whats going on with the Spurs shirt? It looks all patched up?

It was to commemorate the end of their season - assuming they avoid relegation.

Wiped the floor with them in the first half. Second half pretty even, largely due to their persistent fouling and the ref losing control.

Cue the pundits going on about how great spurs were with zero mention of little old Villa who actually won - shades of the Man Utd and Chelsea games.

Just one question: did we win the cup in 2026?

He doesn't remember, he was too busy celebrating his Lottery wins.
