We have to get out of the habit of dropping off when well in front. Rogers far too casual second half, Bogarde got caught out twice, the first leading to their goal. They have become an ugly side.
Buendia is brilliant at times.

Pleased with that. Apart from a 15 minute spell in the second half we bossed it. Racking up the wins against spurs now.

Villa was excellent first half  , The ref let them back into it second half and do their thuggery .      Like others said hope Kamara is ok  hopefully an impact injury  .   Pau was great after a long lay off.
At times we was old Brazil .  The subs in second half made us regain the game.
Still on for 3 things .

Tottenham had a 25 minute spell in the second half, other than that, they were schooled by the beautiful football from Villa.  Good as a team, good individual performances today and great to see them all sticking up for one another at the end.  I watched on TNT and had to listen to Glenda Twaddle wax lyrical about tough tackles, like he ever tackled anyone!!  The twunt.  Palhinha tried to 'do' Rogers with that tackle.  Two lovely goals from Villa.  We were fantastic.

First half was as good as ive seen us under Emery, some of the one touch passing was superb. Their goal made it harder work but overall, we deserved it. Bendy was superb and Bogarde was great as well but you can see why Conor Gallagher in that midfield for Mcginn on 60 (and vice versa) might work.

First half was as good as I've seen us all season, both goals came from superb team efforts, their goal changed things, but we saw the game out well in the end.

Well done Villa boys!
Spurs are dirty knuts!
The ref was poor again. Paulinho is a thug and should have been booked long before he was. He should have been sent off for his thuggery!
Buendia gets a booking for a slight sleeve tug and the thug gets away with assaults throughout the game. Little wonder refs are accused of being corrupt.
Fuck off spuds!
Proud of the Villans!

100%

Season over for those tossers. Palhinha is utter scum but the ref ignored his assaults throughout the game.

Brilliant first half, best we've been in ages, second half pretty routine getting it over the line as usual.

We were great first half, they huffed and puffed and kicked us second half, but we dug in and great win.
Why anyone is getting annoyed with the BBC coverage is beyond me, they are talking about villa loads and bigging us up.
Hope Kamara is not badly injured.

Yep, this is one of the reasons we end up winning every game by a single goal and very occasionally fucking up like at Go Ahead Eagles. We start fartjng around and acting like we already won.

That said, the players clawed the initiative back 20 minutes into the second half and we didn't really look under a great deal of threat after that. We came closer to getting another. This talk of their wonderful second half performance is laughable, they ran around more and kicked half our team to pieces.

Here's to a home draw in Round 4.

We played in 2nd gear all game and still were on another level to spurs. In fact spurs had to go full throttle to get anything.
Pauliniha was smashing players from the first minute, a early yellow might have calmed him down a bit think he got booked on 82mins.

Theyve got Romero and Paulinha trying to maim everyone on the pitch yet they still boo Cash. Hilarious.
