Do they have some financial link to our owner?

Yes. El Gouna Red Sea is owned, developed, and operated by Orascom Development Holding (also known as Orascom Development), an Egyptian multinational company specializing in creating sustainable, fully integrated communities with hotels, residences, marinas, golf courses, and more. The visionary behind the project is Egyptian billionaire Samih Sawiris (Nas's brother), who founded Orascom Development and conceived El Gouna in the late 1980s.

Lovely getting the family involved. They’re worth about £30-odd billion between them I think.

Yes, I think you’re correct, Percy.
I’m sure I read, when Nas took over, that the 3 richest people in Egypt were Nas, His father and his brother.
I’ve always wondered if the other two would get involved somehow.

Be wonderful to do a deal on selling/buying Villa Park, there would be absolutely nothing the FA could do about it, would there?

We seem to have kept our powder dry and waited until our stock is at its peak before starting this process.
No doubt the City115 pending result will have informed when to kick this off.

Arsenal will be pissed off that they had to do a deal with Rwanda when we've got El Gouna.

Went to El Gouna for the night about 15 years ago when we were stopping in Hurghada. We missed the last shuttle bus back to our hotel and had to get some dodgy taxi instead.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think the resort would, one day, be the proud sponsors of our training kit!

Do we really think this will significantly ease our financial constraints

Excellent. £100m should do it.
Yes but we must stick to market rate principles. So based on another club and an airline I think £250M and a miserly £1B over 4 seasons is reasonable.

I’m absolutely staggered that when things like this happen, our fan base asks questions and do not realise what we have going on in the background of our club.
Do people not take notice of what is actually going on ?

I think some people need to start studying who and what is driving us as a club and understand the magnitude of what is behind us.

Too late for their dad now, I think he died a while ago. There are three brothers I think.

The club seems to be driven by Sawiris more than Wes Edens. I know it’s all through V Sports which is the holding company but Nas appears to be more ‘hands on’.

Wes will probably have more of an influence on the stadium given what he built for his netball team.

Might give us enough money to sign (Victor) Moses
