Can’t be loaned, from what I gather.

Might as well just play him in the under 18s until January.

He can’t play at any level for us, apart from Bodymoor Heath kick abouts.

What a ridiculous system.

Moreover, why didn't we know this was going to be an issue?

There's been a ludicrous suggestion from some that we DID know, but where worried about him getting sniffed out by a 'bigger' club, so jumped the gun on purpose...

I'd be more inclined to believe that if we weren't making a habit of daft decisions of late.

If we have identified him as a future star, it's still probably better to have him training for a year than go somewhere else.

I think we also assumed that the rules wouldn't preclude a player from England playing for a club based in England because it is completely ridiculous.

I understand he holds a British passport though, so maybe that gave us false confidence he would be seen as British.

On the plus side, it gives us another 6 months to come up with more songs for him.

What a ridiculous system.

It’s ok CD. Man City or Man U will do the same at some point soon, probably someone who isn’t British born and they will go straight into the first team squad.

If he joins Mudryk and assorted bombed-out pros, they could start their own team and climb the pyramid quicker than you can say Sevco.

Gylfi Sigurðsson is back playing in Iceland, so won't be available.

The other sides do it but normally make the deal of "he stays with you for another season and the transfer happens when he is valid".
